Simply amazing food by any standard, and coming out of a food truck it’s twice as impressive.
Over the course of Comic-Con, I had many crab cake sandwiches with the fried egg on top. It was a mess. It was advertised as such. The english muffin it was served on was nicely toasted, the crab cake was perfect, and the house sauce was the perfect note of spice. Add in the runny yolk of a fried egg and I was ready to die happy.
And then came the truffle fries. Oh my goodness. Complex, earthy flavors that are perfect on their own, and doubly so when dipped in a bit of left over egg yolk.
