Resurrect Dead: The Mystery of the Toynbee Tiles
at Broadway Centre Cinemas IV in Salt Lake
My Score – 93
Nicely brief, very involving mystery tale, and a perfect counterpoint to Shut Up Little Man earlier in the week. All of the excesses of the filmmakers in that movie are absent here, leaving a very pleasant taste my mouth when thinking about the impact of the documentary on the lives of those involved. Highly recommended.

My Score – 93
A imaginative, original concept that is very artfully executed. My only complaint is Eva Green, who looks as enticing as a tarantula made of hypodermic needles. It’s a tribute to Ewan MacGregor’s acting abilities that you actually believe he would find her to be warm and worth a return visit. This is what high concept film should be: well-considered, well-acted, and impressive in scope.
